Hello everyone. I got a question about LOD.
Is it better to use StreamingMesh LOD on the Parent model?
Or is it better to put the StreamingMesh option to its model children?
Or is it better to use streaming mesh lod on every descendant model + the parent model of the building? Thanks.
this feature is usually for if u want certain meshes to have a custom level of detail. u might want to use streamingmesh on all models for skyscrapers, etc. here’s a brief explanation. (some could be factually incorrect but these are just rough guidelines from AI). hopefully it helps!

If the model is always visible then if you are far away the LOD will reduce the detail. So why disable it for objects that are visible.
