Looking for a GFX artist

Hello, I’m looking for a GFX artist to make some quick thumbnails and game icon for me.

Game Icon - 250 R$

Thumbnail - 500 R$

Please send me a message if you’re interested (WhatZitTooyya on ROBLOX)

NOTE: If it isn’t finished within 3 days I will find a new artist.

I’ll do the honors and be the first to mention that this is very much underpaid. If you want to find someone willing to do that with such a strict deadline (especially if they’re expected to do the design and execution of it) then I strongly recommend offering at least tenfold of that.

Only want a good render of two characters with a transparent background.

I did the Game Icon myself.

You are asking for a service that not everyone is capable of doing, and that service is meant to increase the revenue to your game. These are all factors that make a fair price not more than reasonable, and if it’s ‘only a good render’ (which implies it’s simple?) then you should be able to do it yourself and save a lot of hassle.

i can help you with that

I’m pretty sure everyone has their own price range, I mean for 250R$ for an Icon wouldn’t get you much of a high profile GFX Artist but you can still get it for that price so :man_shrugging:

But tbh 3 days is 72 Hours, that’s not a small amount of time to work with at all, and probably too much time.

But I could be wrong, I do my own GFX now because I’m picky :stuck_out_tongue:

But just imagine if you have both school and work;

That’s a good 9-10 hours of your day, then around 6-8 for sleeping.

That’s 15-18 hours a day of not working.

With three days, you’d only get 45-54 hours total, which might not be a lot, considering people have to do more than go to school, work, and sleep.

I agree with me peers in that the pay is low, only because the compensation is unprofessional. I’m sure there’s beginner designers that would do this job. My confusion is that this was posted in the DevForums where the majority of developers are already established and unwilling to do these smaller projects.

Additionally, as @WhatZitTooyya is someone with over 4,000,000 visits: I would imagine that he as a developer would acknowledge the artisan craft of developing - And more importantly appreciate quality work.

What I ask to my clients (Graphic Design) when they are unwilling to pay higher amounts (Which is an awkward conversation usually):
Q: What problem are you trying to fix? What led up to you to contacting me?
A: The branding for my game isn’t memorable, The game is not reaching the target audience, etc etc.
Q: Okay, What is on the line for you? If this is what is preventing you from making a hypothetical $2,500, How much of that do you think you should owe to addressing the problem? And more importantly, wouldn’t you be willing to pay more so that you can effectively attract your target audience?
