I made a small minigame inspired by Squid Game’s “Glass Bridge” and I’m looking for criticism (not hate) on how I could improve this. I am aware that especially the lobby is pretty empty.
To be honest I would scrap the game. All you do is one stage from Squid Games, which has already been copied a million times. Your player retention is guaranteed to be extremely low, and I doubt players will be in-game for more than a minute or two because there is no goal besides getting to the other side. It’s not interesting and you have to think about what would make the player keep returning. I suggest either adding this part to a much larger and more intricate game, or scraping the game in general.
Edit: The game is a lot easier and better with other players. With a player retention of only a few minutes, this will be even less likely because players might not be playing at the same time, and it’ll likely be a lot of single players.
Yea thats the problem, no one is playing it haha. I agree tho, I’m not interested in updating it as this was meant to be a simple game I could make in a few days anyway. Ty for checking it out!
