Looking for Developers (meshers, animators, etc) for a fairly ambitious project [[long term]]

About Us

Heya! I’m working on a game called Border World alongside a composer, artificial_music! They’ve composed some royalty-free tracks you may have heard before.

The Team so far
Programmer, design, building, gfx, sfx, UI, meshing/texturing/animating (at the moment) - me
Composer - Stream Artificial.Music music | Listen to songs, albums, playlists for free on SoundCloud
Feel The Snow on Steam --They composed most of the music for this game. A lot of the tracks were previously made and simply licensed to the developers, however for Border World will be a completely original soundtrack.

I cannot show progress as most of it is just prototyping to make sure the game is fun & is no longer representative of the game.
However, I do understand that this may be problematic for many people,

So, here's a bit of history behind me:

I have helped with/taught @Serieko, and still do every now and then. @Serieko is currently the lead developer for The Bonelands (2.8 m+ visits)
The Bonelands - Roblox
I still occasionally help out Serieko in DMs. I’ve also helped around a scripter for Aincrad Online in dms quite a bit.

I was given 10k by ech0eye, the owner of Boku no Roblox: Remastered. It was because ech0 was impressed with how fun the games I was making were, and wanted to help me with uploading sounds for them.

I was supposed to help MusWorld (now known as ItsManamus) work on a sequel to ALFheim online (To clarify-- MusWorld was a developer, not the owner of ALFheim online. He wanted to make a sequel because the old owner abandoned the game). He was impressed with my scripting capabilities and offered to work on a different game he wanted to make a long time ago. It didn’t pan out though, as something personal which I will not mention happened to him and caused him to essentially stop everything.
You can check his old group out, and see that he added me as a developer, before he went dark.
Mus Interactive: Moribus Online - Roblox

Otherwise, I’ve been mostly lurking around, making fun things in my own free time, teaching myself how to program, mesh, going out of my way to even buy an expensive graphic tablet to learn GFX (still actively learning it btw!) before getting a job to get funds to make this game.

If you need more tangible proof that I am capable of making this game and releasing it, check out this thing I made as an exercise:
exercise - Roblox
It is a partial zelda engine rewrite for roblox. Space to roll, buttons are only there for anti exploit testing. It was made in ~2.5 days or so, but I had to update it at some point due to anti exploit randomly kicking some people who wanted to check it out.

About The Job

Border world is a roguelite hybrid of turn-based combat and live-action combat. You can team up between 1-4 players, and try to do a run without all getting wiped.
Now the thing about the game is that it is a huge excuse to be able to add whatever anyone wants. It is a mash-up of various worlds stuck inside of a “border world”. This means one character may be a holy paladin who unlocks various holy healing moves throughout a run, whilst another player may literally be a roblox noob running around with a linked sword, and possibly unlocking various “griefing” tools.
There is essentially no set theme for the game. Weird clashing visual styles are very much allowed.

What we're looking for

Mesher + Texturer
Animator (Ideally you are both a mesher, texturer AND animator to simplify things)
Possibly a programmer, if you’re really good (must know oop + have good portfolio)
GFX will most likely be done via commissions.

We can negotiate time constraints later, if you tell me what your availability is.
Finally, we are looking for fairly competent developers.
This game is ambitious, like-- really ambitious.
You need to be able to spend time actually working on it, and make good content. Don’t be shy-- message me about it if you want. Even if you don’t get hired, I’m fairly well-versed in all of these domains, so I can give input if you want to improve.

Payment

It really depends. In terms of assets I’m willing to pay between 5-50+ USD for each, depending on complexity. In terms of scripting, well, we’d really need to negotiate about that.
All payments will be done through PayPal.
Payments will increase proportional to how much revenue the game brings in upon release.

Contact

Send me a message on Discord (Kizylle#0001), or here. I will get notified faster on discord, however.
You must be 13 years or older to apply.
