About Us

Hey everyone! My name is Lollganz and I own Ganz’ Games, a game development group currently working on our first title ‘Smoothie Empire’, a game where you upgrade your smoothie store from the ground up, craft delicious smoothies, collect cute pets to help you on your journey, and much more.

The Team
@Lollganz - Owner, 3D Modeller, UI Designer.

About The Job

I am looking for an ambitious, highly motivated individual who is highly experienced with programming in Lua to work on Smoothie Empire. The previous programmer and I started development on the game 8 months ago and it’s around 99% complete with it being in it’s very last stages of development, all that’s needed to be done before the testing phases (and then release) is implementing a couple more semi-large gameplay features, bug fixes and UX improvements.

Do expect to work a fair amount if you’re chosen as the programmer for this project, meaning around 5 days a week, 10-15 hours a week, it’ll be up to you to create your own work schedule and how you utilize these hours throughout the week. Keep in mind you may be expected to work more hours after release to meet the workload demands of large fortnightly updates! If you fail to work at least 10 hours a week without good reason (such as being busy with real life priorities) you will be fired.
The previous programmer failed to work the expected amount of hours by a long shot which was what ultimately ended up in me removing him from the dev-team.

Judging by the amount of tasks that are left before release, I’d estimate they may take around 1-2 weeks to complete if you’re an experienced and motivated programmer working the expected number of hours, this excludes the time required to familiarize yourself with the previous programmers code.

Payment / Budget

Considering the game is 99% complete and there is at the most around 3 weeks worth of work to do before release, you’ll start off on a small % at around 10%, however this will increase by around 10% every week after release, replacing the previous programmers % which will start off at 30% (I’ll be getting 40%, and the investor will be getting 20% until he doubles his investment which will then decrease to 15% for 3 months).
The games sponsor budget for release will be 650k+ Robux, I will be spending 150k+ on sponsors myself and the investor DailyDoseOfSimulator (owner of the hit game Bakon) will be investing 500k.

Contact Us

If you’re interested in the position, please reach out to me on Discord (lollganz#3299), however to prevent wastage of both our times I will ask for your portfolio/previous work instantly upon you messaging me, and if your work doesn’t meet my expectations I will quickly let you know! If I feel you’ll be great for the position I will then explain the game to you in more detail.
While it’s not a requirement, being 16+ years old for the position is preferred.

Thanks for reading! :sunglasses:

What? Whats the cap for the %?

Because the investor will be getting 20%, once the previous programmer has been compensated and his % removed the new programmer will cap at 40% (I’ll be getting 40% also).
Once the investor has doubled his investment and his % gets decreased to 15% for 3 months, the programmer and I will both be getting another 2.5% each, so 42.5% each.
3 months after doubling his investment, the investors % will be removed entirely, giving both the programmer and I a 50% cut each of the games revenue.

Would Apply, but unfortunately I’m not 16+ :pensive:

I really like the sound of this game, the UI and map is stunning. Good luck with its release :grinning:
