Hi, I have a game called flappy noob. It’s based off of the popular arcade game, flappy bird (which I’m sure you’ve heard of.) I’d like some feedback on it; what to add, what to change, what not to add etc. Here’s the link to the game: https://www.roblox.com/games/5056542942/Flappy-noob-BETA?refPageId=138363d2-1cec-4d17-ab70-9f5604605572
I have around 6.5k to sponsor atm, and I’m wondering if this game has potential to make profit. Let me know if you think it is, and if you think I’d make back more than 6.5k if I spend that much on sponsoring it. Sources of payment:
In the shop you can either buy the items with robux or the in-game currency
Premium payouts
I’m also going to add a system where you can buy in-game currency for robux.
Maybe you should remove the wall that appears everytime you die (the scores one), I feel that it’s annoying losing then having to close it, and if you don’t do it, it wastes screen and you have to close it, when you don’t and instead keep playing you will die because you can’t see at all.
You could round some GUIs too because they look flat and squares. (Only the shop and the leaderboard GUIs.)
Besides that, everything looks very nice. Keep working!
Hi, I think the game’s concept and GUIs are great! I tried out the game, and I think there’s 2 things you might want to look into:
Firstly, your results come up after crashing into a pipe. I think you should find a way to make the results GUI automatically go away when the play button is clicked the next time, because some players might ignore closing out the GUI and just continue with the game. If the GUI doesn’t automatically close out, some players might find it a bother to close out the GUI every single time. Plus, the GUI covers your screen when you hit play, so you can’t see where you are and are most likely to crash.
Second of all, I think that you should have a countdown of 3 seconds after the play button is clicked before actually starting the game. The first few times, I was caught off guard by this.
Otherwise, the game’s nice and simple! I like how you incorporated a Premium feature into the game, and I also like that the space bar is also sort of used as a hotkey to jump. Good luck on your game!
Thanks to @Happy_Errors and @HappyLemonzYT for the feedback! I changed it so that the results board goes away when you press play again, and made it that it gives you a second before starting the game.
Update: The chat is now cross-server, meaning if person 1 says something in one server, person 2 who’s in a different server will see it in the chat. I also added a few animations to the main guis.
Woah! That is very cool, it doesn’t ruins the experience and it’s a game where you can talk to other players. I see a big future for your game, keep going!
