Looking for feedback on my game Project Power-UP 2020

How it’s going everyone.
About one month ago i released Project Power-UP 2020; a game inspired by Kirby Air Ride with additional features, different city and minigames.
As for now my friends gived me positive opinions and some suggestions, but i’m also looking for feedback here.
Currently im looking for some opinions on these things but it’s optional:

  • Mystical Perks System. (Mix-and-Match system where you can assemble your own boosts that are triggered in-game. It’s mainly composed by a Condition, Activation Chance and Effect.
Ex: Breaking a Blue Box gives a 8% to increase Speed by 1.
  • Does a specific event heavily impact your outcome in the minigame? If so, let me know.
  • The minigames gameplay and maps and if i should modify something.
  • The Shop UI. (The others are not revamped yet.)

The “City”.

Note: If you want to try a specific event, minigame or get free power-ups, tell me to join.

Thank you and have a nice day/night.

Very cool, some really good stuff here especially with the GUI and special effects.
Found a couple of bugs that probably need fixing,
one of the big ones is the purple jump squares in the collect the power-ups mini games dont seem to work.

The game has some balancing issues. It could use more debuffs. The game itself looks really good, but the gameplay is a bit runaway.

The “press Q to enter the queue” feature is a bit questionable. I’m (and many other players, probably) not used to having to press a button to join the game, and will often forget to do so if they aren’t used to doing this.

That being said, I forgot, and then saw the 4-minute timer until the next round and immediately left; I don’t have the patience to wait that long as a 17-year old, and younger children probably won’t either.

If your intent is to keep AFK players from entering the round, make a standalone AFK button or an auto-AFK feature. It’s a lot more intuitive.

Glitchy behaviour, thanks for letting me know.

Can you specifiy more about the balance issues?

So i did like the opposite?
About the “Press Q to enter the queue”, it’s just a little thing that i added. If you didn’t know the game has some partial gamepad support (Y Button for the queue and show/hide power-ups.)
But thanks for the feedback.

If you are the first to collect a speed powerup it gets easier to collect the other powerups and get more and more speed. Then you win and no one can catch up to you. Add a higher likelihood of debuffs spawning in crates, or a match-wide free boost to people so they can pick which 1 attribute to increase by 1.

Thanks for the clarification.
I’ll look into it and see how to balance this stuff.

Also, Thanks for adding free VIP servers. I am going to play this with my friends today.
