Hey!
I’ve recently added a tutorial to my game and I would really want to know what do people who join it for the first time think about it.
I tried to make it simple, informative and not too arduos to complete.
The game is not currently fully mobile-compatible but the tutorial is.
Any feedback appreciated!
Eh. It looks good, but can you add some more tweens to make it feel more real? Unless i missed it…
And also, tutorial aside but the logo is wayyyyyyyy too good.
The tutorial shows people how to enter the different tabs (edit, shop, community) but it doesn’t tell them what to do when they click them. You should either give more specific information on how these tabs are used or instruct them to click the X or save button so that they can continue with the tutorial.
Some people, especially younger players, might be confused on what to do.
Thank you for the feedback!
I wanted to give players more freedom if it comes to passing the tutorial and not forcing them to do nothing but what the tutorial asks for.
I think for the building part (edit/new ship) it’s obvious to click Cancel/Save in the end, but you may be right if it comes to the other tabs.
New players could be confused with what the tutorial wants them to do next (closing the window).
So I think I will add an arrow next to the X button to make it more clear.
