It makes sense mechanically but I think you should give the player an overarching goal at the beginning, before exposing them to all the mechanics. I was not sure what to do with items I picked up. One time I picked up an enemy and the only way I could figure out to drop them was to sit in a seat. I think the horse cart turning should be smoother.
