Looking for feedback on my new game, RNG Arena

My game, RNG Arena is a game where you roll attacks while fighting other players. All attacks are unique in their own way. Some attacks come with an ability, while other have their basic/M1’s modified making them much more unique.

I am specifically looking for feedback on:

  • Bugs
  • What could make the game gain popularity
  • QOL features
  • And some other adjustments that could be made.

Granted, this is my first dev forum post, and I am still a little new to all this.

Game works best with multiple players. No one currently playing? Invite some people!

Here are my thoughts:

  • I think some of the attacks should be a bit more flashy, particularly the basic punch and kick. I’d suggest involving more of the body in the animations (like turning the torso, head, etc. to respond to how the arm/leg is moving to perform the attack) and adding some sound effects to them to give the player a sense of motion when they attack.
  • I rolled the pebble attack and found that when I walked straight ahead and threw pebbles directly in front of me, they would spawn right behind me a push me forward a bit. I also found that I could hold space and throw a pebble at the crest of my jump to jump off the pebble (essentially acting like a double jump). One solution that might help with these issues is disabling the collisions of the rocks for the player who threw them.

Thanks for the reply!

About the pebbles, that’s something I like to call “Pebble Boosting”. Witch is like a feature the community and I have kind of discovered. Alot of my players says it’s cool, I think its unique, So it might just end up being a feature.

The animations kinda suck so your right, Animation is not my spotlight. But can totally be improved.
