Looking for feedback on my newest showcase

I’ve been getting back into low-poly building recently, and I have chose to make a little showcase for the festive season. It was made in about 2-3 hours, and it has mainly been a test for my ability on low poly building in blender and my abilities in appropriate lighting for games.

This is the game, I would love some criticism off of you all! Thank you!
PS, I was never really into low poly to begin with, but I do want to slowly get back into it. All feedback is appreciated! And keep in mind, it is just a work in progress!
Edit: Thank you for the feedback! Tomorrow, (if I have time of course), I’ll be remaking the game from scratch. Hopefully it could turn out better than I think, and once again, thank you so much!

The door is wonky, like a cartoon look. The logs on the cabins look like hot dogs kind of. The roof of the cabins is too blocky, make them more of a triangle maybe. I overall did not like the look of the place. The fire pit was the only decent looking thing there.

Eh, fair enough. I do need to improve on low-poly builds, as I have not practiced it since last year. Thank you!

The showcase look rushed and there is a lot of room for improvement. The lighting/blur is too much

You probably used a mesh for the floor, you should make the floor out of parts instead of meshes because meshes has weird hitboxes.

The color choice is very bad and the green does not fit the environment at all.

Thank you lol

Yeah, the lighting made a brown look oddly green. This is mainly just a practise for the festive season, (and of course my low poly skills), and I honestly 100% agree that I should use a non-mesh floor. Thank you!

Hmmmmmm, I do like it, for feedback i’d give all the feedback @anon15421372 suggested, and for suggestion i’d say to make the place feel a little more vibrant! Maybe you could put something inside the cabins and/or add some Christmas trees, it doesn’t feel like a holiday showcase more like just a winter themed one.

Yeah. Makes enough sense, as my cabins do look incredibly like
hotdogs, and I do need to focus more on the festive feel. I’ll redo this whenever I have time, and thank you for your feedback.
Have a great day / night!

I’ve tried to make myself a new cabin for a fresh start.

I love this one much more than my previous work. Only problem is, I’ve been looking around for how to convert materials into a texture for ages. But I’m very happy for the feedback, at some point I will be adding an inside for the cabins, and I’ve also tried to make the lighting a bit more vibrant. Thank you!

That looks great! I’ll check it out when I can but i’m busy right now.

This new cabin design is 100% better. The roof needs to be textured and maybe you can add a chimney to the roof. As @Hotel_GroupHolder you could add some stuff inside the cabins.

Yeah, my main focus was for it to be a small cabin. I think it’ll be fun to do the interior. Thank you!

I’ve started work on fixing the game. Now it is not oddly-green anymore, the blue floor is now gone due to a change in the atmosphere I made, I have removed the mesh island and replaced it, and I would say that my new cabin is 100x better than previously.

I do think I should change the door soon, though. Thank you for your feedback!
