Looking for Game Design Feedback on Glorious Battle

Hey developrs!

I’ve been working on Glorious Battle, a strategy/battle game on Roblox, and I’ve reached the point where I’d really like some outside perspectives on the overall game design and player experience.

The game is built around commanding an army, choosing different troop types, and trying to outplay the opposing side during large-scale battles. I’ve spent quite a lot of time working on the underlying systems and improving how the different units behave, but when you’ve worked on a game for long enough it becomes difficult to judge the experience from the perspective of a completely new player.

I’d especially appreciate feedback on things like:

  • First impressions — is it clear what you’re supposed to do?
  • Core gameplay loop — does commanding troops and fighting battles stay engaging?
  • Strategy — do your decisions feel meaningful?
  • Pacing — are there moments that feel too slow, confusing, or overwhelming?
  • Troops/combat — do the different units feel useful and interesting?
  • UI/UX — is anything difficult to understand or unnecessarily awkward?
  • Game feel/polish — what would make the battles feel more satisfying?
  • Replayability — what would make you want to play another match?

I’m also very interested in hearing what you think the game is currently missing. New mechanics, progression ideas, better ways of communicating information to the player, changes to the combat flow—anything is fair game.

You don’t have to write a huge review either. Even something as simple as “I stopped having fun here” or “I didn’t understand this” is genuinely useful feedback.

I’m actively developing the game, so I’m looking for criticism I can actually use rather than just promoting it.

Thanks to anyone who gives it a try! I’d love to hear what works, what doesn’t, and what you think Glorious Battle could become.
