Looking for help with understanding basics of using Maya for animating Roblox animations

I’m outsourcing animation work to an IRL friend of mine who uses Maya. I’ve heard in the past that it’s possible to import animations from Maya (with a plugin, I believe?) for use in Roblox. They have no experience with Roblox and I have minimal experience with Maya.

I’ve tried to locate resources to use so she and I can can set up a workflow but I’m struggling to piece the process together.

Is this possible to do and, if so, is there anyone proficient in it that can either supply strong resources or talk me through it?
