One of the most annoying things as a builder is a group of parts that aren’t exactly the same height. Say you’re trying to make a roof with a curve, so you add in the parts for your curve and you get this:
If your goal is perfection (as every good builder’s goal should be), you are either going to use the ‘Scale’ tool and carefully move each brick up and down. That takes forever and isn’t always accurate to the hundredth or thousandth of a stud. Your second option - the better one - is to manually insert the height of each brick, and that tends to work ok.
The err with that solution, however, is when you manually insert it, the added length is distributed to both sides, thus further offsetting your bricks. In a situation similar to the one depicted above, If you have collisions on, the brick you change the height of will go above the rest of the bricks. With collisions off, the brick will stay in the relative area but move unequally up and down.
In the end, if you insert the height for each part shown in that picture, they’ll end up being taller but offset just as much. Solution? Insert the height you want, then mess with the Scale tool. This is annoying and isn’t 100% accurate.
Note: If there’s some better way to do this that I’m missing…well…embarass me 
So…
My question is: does anybody know of a plugin that will make parts equal in size on one plane?
If not, this may be a worthwhile venture for those more knowledgeable in scripting than myself.
