Looking for SFX Designers & R6 Animators
Who I am
I started this game (Parasite Protocol) as a solo project, but sadly as the school year went on I’ve found myself detached from development as I focus more on academics. To move development forward, I’m looking for decent modelers or 3D animators to make content while I’m gone. Over the months, I have built up a small community with a few staff members.
What I have
I’m proficient with scripting as it’s my main field. The biggest thing I’ve developed for the game would be the procedural spaceship generation system which randomly generates the entire map every time. I’ve also created other things such as an advanced proximity chat for the game, a bidding system, etc. I have done a lot of back-end development for performance reasons or networking lately.
What I changed in this post:
- Removed modeler from the post (we have one now)
- Added SFX designer (we most likely will need one)
- Payment
- Removed animator from the post (we got one now)

The Project
I am looking for a creative Sound Designer to craft an immersive audio experience for an upcoming futuristic First-Person Shooter (FPS). We need a cohesive sonic identity that captures the grit and high-tech atmosphere of an advanced sci-fi world.
Scope of Work
You will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality audio assets, including:
- Weaponry: High-impact firing sounds (plasma, railguns, traditional ballistics), mechanical reloads, and futuristic projectile whizz-bys.
- Equipment: Sci-fi gadget hums, grenade explosions with distinct “tech” debris, and tactical gear foley.
- UI & Environment: Menu clicks, HUD notifications, ambient station hums, and “power-up” sound cues for consumables like medpacks.
Technical Requirements
- Layered Design: Sounds should be provided as high-fidelity stems or layers (e.g., the “punch,” the “mechanical click,” and the “tail”) to allow for dynamic in-game mixing.
- Style: Ability to blend organic textures with synthetic elements to achieve a “Futuristic” aesthetic.
- Commitment: We are looking for a long-term partner to stay with the project through the official release.
- Lenient Deadlines: You are encouraged to take your time to ensure the best possible results. Please work at your own pace; we prioritize quality over speed.
- Communication: Must be able to provide regular progress updates and maintain decent communication throughout the development cycle.
A portfolio or demo reel of past work (especially weapon or sci-fi sounds) is highly encouraged, though not strictly required if you can demonstrate your style.
Payment & Compensation
This is a FIELD-ORIENTED Revenue Share position. Each field can have up to 20% in revenue. We are offering a high-percentage stake to ensure you are rewarded for the game’s success:
Rate: 20% of the game’s total Robux revenue. If there are multiple developers in the same field, it will be split between that field.
Duration: Monthly payments for the first 6 months post-release.
Example: If the game earns 2M Robux in its first month, your payout would be 400k Robux for that month alone (if you’re the only one in that field).
DIFFERENT FIELD PAY:
- Modeling: 20% game revenue
- Animation: 20% game revenue
- SFX Design: 15% game revenue
