You wont get anyone trying to work here if you want them for free. You will never go anywhere at the price of free. You have no wages, percentages or anything. Scripters have to use their well arranged skills, work hard, and get nothing.

This is also very greedy, saying you want them to be experienced. Scripting and building is not an easy task, and for you to have the absolute audacity to have the mindset of “Yeah, im important, i want them for free, AND I want them to be good!” is insulting to the human race.

If you want someone to work, expect them wanting pay.

Completely agree with this, you can’t want everything like experienced workers, with “considerable” activity and making it a LONG TERM thing if it’s people that want to help out.

If people decide to help out and work for free I don’t think you should be demanding much at all and just be happy enough that people are willing to support you in your efforts

Yeah yall right. Thank you for the advice though.
I’m thinking I’ll just keep doing what we’re doing and wait until I can actually afford wages.

For the most part, I guess this is a weird form of internship.

Just wanting to see if anyone would like to help us out.

you could go somewhere else to do that because this is for great people and you ask a lot but give a little

What I would do personally is do paper rounds (After lockdown) and save money.
I know again from personal experience that parents would always try to get it but from paper rounds you should be able to keep the money.
But if you want a much simpler way to do things just try learn things like low poly building or gfx. But paper rounds make a bit more money
I also can say having such a steady income like paper rounds really do help you could recruit nearly anyone you would want to!

That’s a good idea, thanks for being nice, but I think I’ll go look around for help some other place

I just wrote this to take a gamble and see if we got anyone who wants to help out, but the reason why I said no guaranteed pay is because I am looking for people who like to be volunteer and that sort. I have no guarantee for money because I can’t guarantee it! Either our group flops or not. I’m trying to get us off the ground. But I will respect your opinions. I am not trying to insult or make someone my slave for no cost, I’m looking for a trustworthy person.

Now, I see where you all are coming from. I get it. You guys already made your cash from your groups. You basically have no barrier for wages. I can see why I look like a bad person for trying to get volunteers.

However, I really am trying to be a nice guy, but I think I’m in the wrong place for this kind of thing, and I do not know how I’m supposed to word what I’m asking.
In a sense, this is really just a big gamble for people because we are not offering immediate pay, and if it worked out in the end, I’d like to make it worth their while.

But yeah, I’ll take the blame for not giving out pay, but I’m trying to explain my motives.
