I was trying to upload 1 video through asset manager for 2k robux, but the purchase button wasnt working and my roblox studio was frozen so i clicked it a few times and then it finally uploaded the video, but then i checked and i was charged 16k robux instead of 2k. So it must have tried to upload the video 8 times, but on my screen it only showed 1 video uploading. The upload also failed. The purchases also dont show in my transactions anywhere. I opened the roblox studio logs and there was an error there saying “Too many purchases. Please try again later.” If any staff at roblox is seeing this and could help me with this issue and possibly restore the robux it would be a huge help. That was over half of my robux and i was planning to use it for ads.
EDIT:
40 minutes later one of the purchases appeared in my transactions for 2,000 robux. It says i purchased a - Purchased Video: Short (<= 30s) - but this is also wrong because the video i tried to upload was nearly 5 minutes long.
Thanks! Also, it turns out the upload did not fail. One upload did end up showing up under my group about 1 hour later. But still it should have only charged me 2k robux instead of 16k.
When uploads fail, we do refund the Robux. We are looking at why that didn’t happen.
Thanks for also pointing out the “short <30 sec video” text. We missed changing that when we moved from a duration limit of 30 sec to 5 mins
We expect that the failed uploads will be refunded 3 days after the initial upload attempt. Can you let us know if you haven’t received a refund after the end of tomorrow, August 20?
We have identified a bug that caused a delay in issuing the refunds, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
