I’m in a really tough spot and would appreciate any guidance or information.
I created a game called “Polish Packet Driving”, which was owned by my group Gang FB (Group ID: 15724777). Unfortunately, I deleted the group without realizing that this would also lock me out of the experience, even though it still exists on Roblox: Polish Packet Driving - Roblox
I’ve contacted Roblox Support and explained the situation, but I haven’t received a clear answer yet. I don’t have a local backup of the place file, and I was the original creator and owner of the group.
I’m asking:
Is there any way Roblox can transfer ownership of this game back to my account?
Has anyone experienced something similar and managed to get their experience recovered?
This project means a lot to me, and I’d be very grateful for any help or suggestions.
Something similar happened to me. In my case I wanted to change the owner of the group to my other alternative account and now, even I have all the permissions, I can’t access the games or anything else. It’s like a glitch or bug where it just says I don’t have the owner permissions when I’m the owner…
I hope we can find a solution because I lost all the access to my projects and games today.
Always, Always, always make local backups of your experiences before doing any sort of big change or ownership things. Beyond contacting Roblox support there isn’t anything you can really do unfortunately. Try looking into your Roblox Creator page where you see your creations and finances and whatnot.
You may be able to find it somewhere there. If you can make sure you download a copy asap. If not, you may just need to rely on Roblox Support.
Not the first time I changed the ownership and honestly this never happened to me. It’s the first time I can’t access my games or group settings and at the moment I still don’t know. Even I changed the ownership, I still have all the permissions but nothing works, even the site doesn’t load for me, same for the games.
Additionally, I have all the backups of my games, but I want to know what’s going on with the group.
