Lost all progress from disabling Collaborative Editing

I was using Collaborative Editing to have a friend help me on a few bugs earlier so I turned it on and didn’t think much about it. Then just now my game didn’t publish script wise and I couldn’t figure it out so I asked my other friend. He said that it was because of this being on, so stupidly I turned it off and now I’ve lost all work I’ve done today (400+ lines, I know not much but its a lot to me). If I can’t get it back it’s really gonna de-motivate me to keep going on the project in the end it looked really good and I was happy with it. Is there any way to regain what I lost? All the version back-ups found on the website do not restore the lost scripts either.

tl;dr lost all progress from disabling collaborative editing and I want to know if there’s a way to get it back. (besides place revert)

Have you tried checking your auto-saves file? Your work should be in there, just get the latest one and test it out.

Nope I haven’t had auto save on for about half a year, never really thought this would happen.

Nevermind, I restarted my PC then opened studio and it seemed to magically come back. Weird, I don’t know if its just me or if the backup saving for collab editing isn’t super good yet.

Also just figured out with more testing that if you turn it back on, then restart studio that’s how you get it to come back.

Just in case, Collaborative Editing has a feature, which shows up “Drafts” in one of your Roblox Studio Tabs. After you are done with the script, you right click on the script draft and press “Commit” so it will save.
