Hai guys, I would love for someone to give me some feedback on this Apartment low poly building thing.!!
Here is the updated version if the building!!
I don’t quite like in my opinion, the glare on the glass isn’t lined up and even and I feel like it needs more bricks on the red part of the building. I hoped this helped!
It"s not the best but i can see u are trying i feel like the color red is way to in your face it pops out way to much i feel u should try using a warm color palette and more of colors that work together. I See you were going for a effect on the windows um the lines are abit too thick, hope this will help u improve
This is a massive improvement from the other posts you made showing your buildings! So glad to see this, keep up the good work! However, you could use unions to cut the windows into the building instead of having the windows pop out of the side like that!
Hey @reekyboi1234,
Great to see you again on the forums. Out of all your buildings this is my favorite, so keep it up. Alright let me get right started with the windows. Instead of using several parts as “windows flare” effect, use a texture. You can simply just hop into any artistic app and make a couple of rotated white lines. This will not only look better, but also reduce the part count, which prevents lag. Another thing I noticed are the wood planks covering one of the windows. It doesn’t look realistic, because usually the planks would cover the entire window, so it would overshoot the window frame and maybe make each plank a lighter or a darker brown. Next thing I noticed are the bricks on the front of the apartment. It looks weird how they’re only at the bottom. Try covering the entire house with them and change the sizes, shapes and colors (make it lighter or darker). Last but not least the door and the roof are kind of simple. Look at reference images from google, just search low poly apartment and you’ll find a bunch of references. These will help you with making your apartment more detailed and help you with spicing it up. I think I covered everything up, feel free to send em a message if you need help. Good luck with building hope to see you on the forums again!
Thanks for the feed back but you know the other post I made was the wrong build.
I know, I saw the post you made with the updated pictures.
the building just kinda looks dull… maybe add something to spice it up. but i can really see your trying your hardest. keep it up and you can make even better things!
I agree
30 character requirement
He didn’t do that bad at it, I see what he’s going for, keep up the work buddy!
Looks rundown. If that’s the aestheic you are going for then it looks good, but needs some chipped paint or bricks and there is some clipping on the windows with boards. I would remove the windows entirely from the areas with the boards on them and replace it with a black block and have the boards nailed to the frame.
I forgot to tell you but other people kept telling me there was to many bricks on another building I made so I used less bricks.
Maybe just make the bricks in a line on the edges, that’ll look good for sure.
