Making an explosion to fling parts

Hello,

Is there any way to make an explosion that would cause the parts within its blast radius to fling around, sort of like an actual explosion?

I’ve tried unanchoring and welding my map together but the explosion doesn’t seem to have any effect.

Appreciate any help I can get on this.

local dirVec = (Part.CFrame.p - explosion.Position).unit;
local velocity = dirVec * 100;
Part.Velocity = velocity;

Use the Velocity Property.

I don’t think it has any effect, BasePart.Velocity is deprecated

If it’s deprecated it doesn’t mean it doesn’t work, it’s recommended to not be used. You should atleast try it.

If I’m not wrong, it was replaced by the followings: AssemblyLinearVelocity, AssemblyAngularVelocity, :GetVelocityAtPosition.
