Making text invisible after some point

Hello, i’m trying to make text invisible after some point like seen on this video:

Problem with this design is that it uses frames:


But i need it to be fully transparent on live background, is there way to do this?

You should be able to use UIGradients, with the Transparency property. Then you can simply tween the offset of the UIGradient.
