Map border idea

I have a map, and on the edge of the map, I’d like your input on how to handle the border.
The sides of the map are decorated with mountains, but players can walk up them.

Currently, I use a damage area if they go too far up, but there’s no way for players to know why they’re taking damage.

I could add an invisible wall, but exploiters can walk through it and make themselves impossible to hit.
How should I approach this without making the player think they are taking random damage?

Why not just place an invisible wall or something steep you cant climb and kick exploiters that go beyond it?

Just put an invisible wall so normal players cant go through.
And just damage the player if they somehow got out, so exploiters cant go through.

Simple enough, right?

Welp that’s what im talking about, i’d rather kick than damage because you still can abuse it unless it instantly kills but still, why go easy on 'em xd

I think personally you just make a very thick block around the mountains and they can only look at the mountains.

I don’t like having a kick part
this could be used by an exploiter using fling or other method to get legitimate player kick out

Having an invisible wall is nice, but I’d kinda like to keep the damage area, maybe I could have sigh that say death beyond this point.

the way the map is don’t allow me to do this.

Disable player to player collisions so they cant fling, theres a lot of tutorials im a little lazy to explain
