Here is a map that I have recently finished, its called “Warehouse” for a fighting game. Looking for feedback to learn, especially since this is my first time building in this style using no materials except smooth plastic.
So far, your “Warehouse” fighting game is looking spectacular! I’ve gathered up some of my personal suggestions which I believe could contribute in improving the map.
The roof is a bit blank, try adding some sort of support (As demonstrated on the image bellow, taken from google)
You can try adding some sort of decoration suck as pols & floor indicators (As demonstrated on the image bellow, also taken from google)
It is looking great!! I’d like to start off by saying that the stairs railings may look a bit better with a slim bar onto of some supports. Also if you were to pose some of the boxes differently when they are leaning on another it may add some more detail! Love how it’s going so far besides that. Keep up the good work!
If this is supposed to be a platform right here to where the stairs lead up I feel like changing the color would be necessary. Mainly because it’s hard to see due to the color blending in with the rest of the map for example the wall. All you really have to do is slightly change the color by making it a bit darker. The map looks pretty great though.
I thinking I’m an expert of low poly , would say that to achieve this Low Poly look you are aiming for try and add some variety in the boxes, and have the size range from really large to extremely small. Also try adding pipes and vents on the roofs to take up some more space, along with big industrial, hanging ceiling lights.
I like what you’ve done, although I have one thing which I would change if it was up to me:
The Stair Railings:
Usually with stairs, the railing is a “cylinder” of metal or wood, and goes down to the bottom of the stairs. The stair railings that you have now don’t have that, which makes it look really odd.
I don’t see anything else that’s been noted on, so good job!
