Im having massive amounts of server lag caused collectively by all of the models, builds, and terrain in the game. It came seemingly out of nowhere and its getting very frustrating.
It isnt the terrain, this is the testing place, and the main game is nearly 10x bigger and I get around 50 ping there. What is causing my models, meshes, ect to cause so much server network lag?
I simply cannot find the solution, it seems to be everything all together, the scripter took all the scripts to a baseplate so that isnt the problem either. I tried removing things 1 by 1, and it doesnt go to good performance unless EVERYTHING is removed.
Are you testing it in studio? When you run it in studio, you are running the client and the server on your computer. Have you tried publishing, and running the game through the game page on the Roblox website?
What kind of lag is it exactly? network or framerate. If it is network, then have you had a friend try it because it is possible that it is just your internet connection. If it is framerate related, tools like crtl+F6, and crtl+shift+F2 can help point out where your lag is coming from
