Since May, my game has been experiencing incorrect maturity rating label resets occasionally.
May: “Social Hangout” for having the word “relax” in description (seemingly resolved)
August: “Violence” for literally no reason??
And throughout August the maturity label has been reset at least 5 times for “sensitive issues” due to containing pride content. While it is true that pride content is visible in the game, it is not the primary theme of the game, they are just part of the shop and do not add anything to gameplay.
According to Roblox’s policy, experiences that include content related to sensitive issues but are NOT primarily themed on that issue should not be flagged. My game is compliant as it does not meet this criteria as it is not the entire theme of the game.
I am hoping that my game stops having its maturity label reset incorrectly. Whether this is the work of a human moderator or AI going rogue, I would like some clarity as to why my game keeps getting incorrectly moderated. This has happened so many times that it has become 16+ despite having 500+ Highly Engaged Players.
Can you send a screenshot of the violations portal on when the appeal was submitted and how it wasn’t answered? If the appeal was sent through support form, it may not get routed properly, so would recommend the owner try submitting appeals through the violations portal. That way it gets logged more properly in our systems for content maturity.
Sorry for the delayed responses, I asked my collaborator and she said she still hasn’t received a response though I am unsure when she sent the appeal or if it was through support or the appeals page.
Hi, I’m also experiencing this same exact issue. LGBT+ rights are not the primary focus of my game, yet for some reason I keep getting my maturity label rejected because the reviewer thinks it is. I’ve had three appeals successfully go through regarding this, yet on review I keep getting the Sensitive Issues label added to me.
One of the times I was flagged for this, the reason was merely “a shirt in the game contains the word ‘gay’”, which, this is in very very small font in a shirt item tucked away in a corner of the game and is absolutely not the main focus of the game, which is what Sensitive Issues is for.
Despite submitting a Support ticket about this, they keep fighting me on this for some reason, despite those 3 successful appeals.
