Max velocity player can withstand?

Hello developers. I’ve been messing around with Velocity on Roblox and I’ve realized after a certain amount of it the player glitches through floors/clips through walls.

HRP.Velocity = Vector3.new(HRP.Velocity.X, currentVelocity - 20000 , HRP.Velocity.Z)

Currently, this is the code I’m using to adjust the velocity (it’s to make the player fall faster.)

Smaller numbers work well and make the players fall faster so I was just curious what is the highest number I can push that to? Currently, -20000 velocity clips the player through walls.
