Code of Conduct / Staff Guidelines
All players in-game are required to adhere to our basic Code of Conduct. Violating any of these conditions may result in consequences.
General Behaviour: all in-game behaviour must adhere with ROBLOX’s Terms of Service. This includes wearing appropriate clothing, being respectful to others, not using foul language, etc. Depending on the severity, offenders may be kicked from the game or banned.
Disruptive Players: disruptive behaviour, such as trolling, spamming, or being disrespectful to staff, will not be tolerated. Offenders will be warned once by Security, and if they continue, they will be kicked from the game or banned.
Exploiting: exploiting of any sort is prohibited in our games. Offenders will be banned without an opportunity to appeal.
Staff members are required to adhere to some additional rules. Violating any of these may result in a suspension or demotion.
Grammar: staff members must make an effort to use proper grammar. Occasionally grammatical errors and typos are to be expected, but a blatant lack of grammar will not be tolerated.
Respecting Everyone: staff members should always be respectful and helpful when approached by customers and staff alike.
Abusing Privileges: staff members are given additional responsibilities and privileges, such as basic admin commands. These privileges must be used only in certain situations.
Promotions: hinting for promotions will not be tolerated. If you’d like to be promoted, prove your worth through activity, good work ethic, and outstanding customer service. Offenders will not be eligible for promotions in the future.
Common Sense: this guide and Mayside’s other documents will not cover every potential situation and offense. You must use common sense at all times. Ignorance or misjudgement will not be seen as an excuse for misbehaving.
Rank Information
1 | Hotel Guest: This is the basic rank you receive when you join the group for the first time, this will be the majority of our players.
2 | Premium Guest: These are chosen contributors, reputable members of the community and worthy people who have been chosen for this rank.
3 | Trainee Staff: This is the rank you receive after you pass your application, if you have been ranked this you must attend a training in order to rank up further. This rank does not have the ability to work.
Staff Roles
4 | Housekeeper: This job is in charge of keeping the hotel clean and making sure every room is cleaned to the highest standard.
5 | Restaurant Staff: This job is to serve guests food and drinks at the restaurant & bar areas around the resort. They are also responsible for managing room service.
6 | Security: This role is responsible for making sure the hotel is clear of trollers, and exploiters. They make sure everyone in the hotel is safe and having the best experience possible.
7 | Receptionist: These people have the important task of staffing the front desk. Their role is to check-in customers and answer any questions they may have.
8 | Senior Staff: These people are able to work any of the jobs below, and have been promoted for their activity, hard work and dedication. This is the highest low rank you can achieve.
Medium Ranks
9 | Assistant Supervisor: These people have shown they understand all the expectations of the resort and have good skill in the jobs they work. They are able to help out with more important tasks, such as being a trainer for trainings.
10 | Hotel Supervisor: This role is able to help out around the hotel and make sure everything is running smoothly. They receive basic admin permissions on the game. You must be on Discord to be promoted higher than this rank.
11 | Shift Supervisor: This is the highest medium rank, they are tasked with co-hosting trainings and reading applications for trainees. They are able to ban trollers and exploiters in the hotel.
High Ranks
12 | Developer: These individuals create the assets for the group and they allow the group to exist. You cannot be promoted to this role.
13 | Hotel Manager: This is the first high rank a player can achieve. These people have shown great activity, dedication and hard work to get where they are. This rank is responsible for hosting trainings, reading applications & managing the hotel.
14 | General Manager: General Managers are responsible for managing staff, finding dedicated members to promote and ensuring moderation in the hotel is managed well. This rank is able to deal with staff reports.
15 | Executive: Executives are responsible for finding new high ranks, they are also responsible for managing tickets in our Discord, and helping the board out with their tasks.
16 | Board of Directors: This is the highest role you can be promoted to, each member of the board will hold a specific job to complete. This role is also responsible for dealing with staff abuse reports and high rank reports.
17 | Founder: This role is the founder of the group. They oversee all operations of the group and manage all departments. This role manages development and works to audit the board.
Becoming Staff
Without exception, all players who want to become staff must complete the following process:
Submit an application at our Jobs Centre. If your application meets our standards, you will be promoted to the Trainee Staff rank.
Attend and pass a training session at our Training Centre. Once you’ve completed this step, you will be promoted to the LR rank of your choice.

In order to pass your training, you’ll need to receive a passing score. More details on this will be discussed during each training.
Promotion Guide
In order to be promoted in our group, you must show hard work, activity, dedication and knowledge of your job. We look for hard working individuals who we think are able to cope with the extra stress of the position, and help out our group.
Becoming Senior Staff
In order to become Senior Staff, you must have gained 750 points in-game. You can do this by playing our game. You can also purchase a double points game pass to speed this process up.
Becoming a Medium Rank
We look for staff members who have shown significant dedication to the group and we feel are able to take on extra responsibilities as a part of their role. In order to become a medium rank, you must be senior staff and have a significant amount of points. We also look for staff who show activity in our Discord, training sessions and shifts.
Becoming a High Rank
In order to become a high rank, you must show a large amount of activity, dedication, and hard work. You must pass an interview for this role and have been recommended by others to receive the promotion.

Ban Appeals
At Mayside Resorts, we strive to offer a positive experience for all of our customers and staff. Because of this, we will often ban repeat offenders of our Code of Conduct. Bans may restrict you from joining our game or Communications Server. Though we have little tolerance for repeat offenders, we do believe in second chances. Because of this, if you meet the following requirements, you are eligible to submit a ban appeal:
- If your reason for appealing is that you’ve learned from your mistake, you must wait at least 48 hours before appealing. If your reason for appealing is that the ban was unfair, you may appeal immediately.
- Your ban reason cannot be for exploiting or raiding.
- You cannot submit an appeal if you were blacklisted from appealing in the past. There are no appeals for blacklists.
- If you’ve already appealed your ban and it was declined, you must wait at least 1 week before appealing again.
When submitting your appeal, keep the following in-mind:
- It may take up to 5 days for us to process your appeal.
- We reserve the right to decline your appeal for any reason.
- Your appeal is more likely to be accepted if clear effort and thoughtfulness has been shown.
- If you send a troll appeal or appeals that show a clear lack of effort, you may be blacklisted from sending appeals in the future.
When you’re ready to submit your appeal, create a ticket in our server with responses to the following questions:
- What was the reason for your ban?
- Where were you banned from? (Communications Server, in-game, or both)
- When were you banned? (If you don’t know this, you may omit it from your appeal.)
- Why would you like to be unbanned?
- If you’re appealing because you’ve learned from your mistakes, tell us what you’ve learned and why we should give you a second chance.
- If you have anything else to add to your appeal, such as screenshots or extra comments, please do so.
Alliance Guide
Requirements
If you are looking to ally with us, there are set requirements and expectations you must meet. If you do not meet any of the requirements below, it will result in an automatic denial of your application. We seek to form the best partnerships, in setting these requirements we are able to ensure that we are allying with active, strong groups.
- The group must have over 200 members.
- There must be no past records of large controversy, including scamming, free ranking and selling senior ranks.
- The group cannot use stolen assets from others.
- The group must have a good amount of activity.
- The group should be able to announce events within their server, as we will also do the same.
If you see a group breaking one or more of these requirements in our ally list, please contact our relations representative.
Partnering with Us
If your group meets the requirements listed above, please contact our relations representative via our Discord channels and they will respond to you within 48 hours. Please include a good amount of detail in your application, we are interested in groups who want to partner with us to benefit each other, not just for members.
