Mesh Feedback on Broom Stick Bristles

Does anyone have any suggestions or clever tips on maybe making the bristles of brooms a bit better?(that would look good in roblox, and fit the polygon requirements)

Any help would be mightily appreciated!

I really like this broom, I also really like the fact that you have sculpted the bristles (correct me if I’m wrong), I also admire the extra details that you have added, for example the string around the bristles, it is extremely clean and I love it. A few of my suggestions would be…

  • Try to add creases to the wooden ‘stick’ part to make it look more, well, wooden
  • Add more creases to the bristles
  • Perhaps make the ‘stick’ slightly more curved

I think it will be less noticeable when it’s textured, so keep that in mind. Textures can hide small details.

I believe this looks amazing for a broom! Once you texture it, you can add depth and make it more realistic to a broom, that way you dont have to worry about detailing the mesh it self to a point where the tri-count / polycount is very high. Other than that, love the design so far!

I plan on keeping the bristles un textured. And using seperate textures on roblox for the stick. I’m not really good with blender textures. I don’t really know how to do the properly
