Mesh part not appearing

For some reason, a mesh part in my model doesn’t appear despite clearly being parented to the model and existing in there.

The mesh don’t even seem visible in the scene, check that it is correct in your 3d software or you can check if you see it properly in the import preview.

The import preview and the thumbnail in My Models shows the hinge mesh. The mesh just doesn’t appear when i import it. Idk if the File Dimensions in the importing place having a warning sign has something to do with it.

You could try importing at a smaller size just to see if that fixes it yea

thanks it works. it’s just confusing how the original model had the mesh actually visible, only to just disappear somewhere later.

If you import from blender, there’s a difference of 100x in scale with studio by default. were you importing meshes to big and then scaling them down in studio or do you just happen to need huge meshes?

I just import FBX models into studio, they happen to be huge, and I just scale them down.

And @blorgenskor2 I just use basic models of Parts, or Unions, to give me a sense of size and details that I need in the Mesh. I export that to a file then import it into Blender.
When I do 1 stud in Roblox = 1 meter (I think) in Blender.
I fix the Union, or create the Mesh I want to the scale of the imported model, and when I export it back into Studio it’s the original size. No rescaling necessary.

I always export from blender with the scale set to .01, there’s other ways to set your scale properly too but it will save you some trouble if you import at the right scale in studio. Good luck with your projects!
