Mesh Parts Flickering Uncontrollably

(Posting on behalf of our scripter who discovered this behavior)

Issue: The issue started yesterday (October 27th). This is a client-side, very large (300,000+ tri which yes we’re working on replacing) mesh model. Whenever the mesh is somehow visually modified in studios, each of the meshparts begins flickering (video attached) WITHOUT the transparency property changing. The expected behavior is that the meshparts don’t flicker at all.

I found the bug while writing code that changes the color of the meshparts, but the bug also occurs with the blue outline that shows up when selecting the part in the workspace. Sometimes the flickering stops on its own after an apparently random amount of time but will start up again if the mesh is again altered.
