Mesh Textures Render Immensely Slow in Cinema 4D

When I import a mesh’s texture(s), especially when I find a pre-built character for use, Cinema 4D seems to have unbelievable trouble rendering them. For example, in a texture file from an avatar loader, it’s perfectly fine, no hassle with high render settings. But when I use for example a soldier character off of free models and import that texture, the render time is painful even with low samples, reduced resolution, reduced MIP scale and such, it doesn’t really change anything, continuing with the hours of render time. (The problem may not be the texture file itself, but it’s doubted that it has anything to do with the mesh.)

If this is happening to anyone else using Cinema 4D, is there a solution towards this issue? It would be really appreciated as I do use a lot of these meshes as they are more convenient than finding other peoples’ avatars on ROBLOX.
