I sometimes have issues with meshes not importing correctly into Studio.
For example: I imported a cars body mesh, duplicate it to import a new mesh, let’s say the tire. It doesn’t import and the mesh just stays the same as the body mesh, so now I have 2 body meshes.
I get this problem a lot, I’ve tried waiting a few hours to see if it needs to pass moderation or something, but when I check my inventory, it’s not there either.
If you know how to fix this issue, I’d appreciate it a lot since this is an extremely common thing that happens when I try to import meshes into Studio.
I’d highly suggest using the game viewer tab, it has a built in importer for meshes, and images. You can access this by going up to view > right click in an empty space, and then you will see something called “Game”. Click that, and at the bottom of that game window, there is an import button. This will automatically split your meshes, and if you select all at once there will be no need to move the meshes back to where they were in blender. If this helps mark it as a solution
Doesn’t spawn meshes to the center of the baseplate
Messed up faces on meshes
Thank you for trying to help. If you know any other solutions, please let me know! I’ve been trying different ways, but nothing seems to work.
Edit: It seems to be working, but I have to fix those meshes in Blender and try to import them again. So, it seems you found my solution! Thank you @Jaudr3y!! I appreciate it so much.
Np. For the faces, if you’re using blender, turn on backface culling and fix the faces. And yeah it wont spawn them on the center, just gotta move them back
I actually found another way. You can: Tab into edit mode, select your mesh, press Alt + N, and then click Flip and it’ll fix the faces. I suppose you could do Shift + N which normalizes the faces as well. But, sometimes Alt + N and Flip is the way to go.
