Meshes rendering at far lower resolution scale after Play Test

Happening in https://www.roblox.com/games/98798461601883

The Game is streaming enabled. Settings attached in Private Messages,

In Studio, after hitting play at -70.143, 26.621, 3.986 with the 3D assets present, and exiting from the playtest will render the meshes at a lower resolution. It is the same as when hitting Playtest from a far away location and returning to them. Example far-away coordinates; -7417.364, 73.102, -860.061

The Playtest sets it at coordinates -1386.937, 19.686, -109.519, and then returns the viewport to the assets where they decimate in quality.

Before;

After;

The only solution we have found is to restart studio after the play test to get it to render correctly. This is slowing and impeding our ability to produce and place down assets.

Tested with both rendering settings for a higher cache size and getting the same result after play tests;

and both with Solid Modelling on Meshes beta feature on/off;

Expected behavior

We expect Roblox Studio to update the graphic fidelity after going over after a playtest.

The exact same thing is also happening with the staging place of our game, Summon Heroes:

We are absolutely interested in repoing and solving these bugs!

If you want to try a possible fix you can try the flag ‘RenderFixMeshBatchNullGeometry’ in Studio.

If you want to help us repo you can provide access to your places or provide place files. Any additional repo information (steps etc) would be very useful.

I am the Principal Render Engineer working on this issue right now.
