All MeshParts that are cut and pasted (I believe?) have their MeshIds completely wiped. These were all normal, I then copied and pasted the islands into ServerStorage, at which point all of the MeshIds were wiped.
I have had the same issue. I also noticed that putting the meshid back messes stuff with the mesh scaling.
Confirming the same issue. Copying meshes also fails to take the MeshIds. Saving to file works.
I was wondering if I was alone. I hope the mesh ID is still stored in the mesh somehow.
I’m also having the same issue. It seems that some properties of the mesh are not preserved well.
Yeah, can confirm I’m also having this issue.
I just rolled back a change that I believe may have been causing this issue. Can you restart Studio and check if the issue is still occurring?
All the meshes on my game are back to loading perfectly fine so it appears it’s worked
vouch, it seems to work now thank you
Yup all my meshes are becoming blocks everytime I try to transport them from games or just put them in roblox game files. ![]()
My meshes are still broken unfortunately. Sometimes whenever I import them off the start its fine but with the copy and paste they break. And then if my friend tries to import something with team create some of those meshes break as well.
The one which already broke (MeshIDs got deleted) won’t go back to normal however any new ones you mess around with will be fine. This is what I have experienced
I join the club it’s still not there, but when I re-import, there are no glitches. Not so dramatic in my case, but critical for others like the OP.
I think it’s interesting that he updates things that no one asks for, but he doesn’t even fix this error. I just lost about 20 cars because of this, which I’ll have to reassemble, rewrite, they have to fix this soon.
