I have a trampoline that I’m using 2 bones within to animate bouncing up/down as you jump on it - On PC, it looks like this.
My mobile phone users reported the trampoline to be missing, though, and EVERY single mobile player including myself who has tested this reveals the same thing - The “Middle” of the trampoline, a single mesh with 2 bones in it, is completely corrupted on mobile devices, appearing 20 feet above it’s normal location and stretched out in a very unusual way.
You can find the place where this bug happens here
If you look up into the sky, on mobile, you will see the first trampoline has it’s entire surface floating distorted high up into the sky.
This has a 100% chance of happening to everyone on mobile who has attempted it so far!
This is a very random bug that is potentially about to ruin the launch of the next update to my large roblox game.
This is genuinely game-breaking, and I can’t figured out what went wrong. I thought it could be my fault, but if it interacts differently on mobile than on PC, it’s clearly a bug of some description. Any staff help would be appreciated!
edit: No scripts are being used, I said I animate it, but all scripts have been removed for testing purposes. This is purely a model/rig bug.
Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing? I’ve never seen any bug even remotely similar to this before, so anyone who has seen mobile-specific rigged mesh problems, feel free to reply what you’ve seen
