MeshParts render corrupted in Studio and Play Test, but correctly in the live Roblox client

Several imported MeshParts that previously displayed correctly have suddenly begun rendering with severely corrupted geometry inside Roblox Studio.

Unrelated vertices appear to connect, producing large stretched, missing, and misplaced triangles. This affects both the regular Studio viewport and Studio Play testing.

However, when I publish the experience and join it through the normal Roblox client, every model renders correctly. The Roblox asset thumbnails also remain correct. This appears to be purely a Studio rendering issue. the uploaded mesh data itself is not damaged.

I have already ruled out:

The 20,000-triangle limit
Distance-based LOD
RenderFidelity, which is set to Precise
Viewing distance
Corruption of the published mesh, since it works in the live client

Corrupted appearance in Studio:

Correct asset:

Has anyone experienced this Studio-only mesh corruption? Could it be related to Studio’s local mesh cache, graphics API, GPU driver, or a recent Studio update?

I would appreciate any fix that restores correct rendering inside Studio without requiring every asset to be reimported. It makes it harder to see the final outcome of the way assets look. I have to leave studio any time I want to see.

The problem seems to have solved itself. I don’t know the cause but it seems to happen in very long studio sessions.
