Today I noticed that when I looked at this message, it had the “Open” thing there, that would usually appear in Bug Reports, and I can’t change the status of it, or remove it.
Steps to reproduce:

It should only be in Bug Reports, or have an option to change the status.
They disappeared for a little bit, then when I came back to the message it said “Closed”.
I think there is a 50% chance it can reproduce.
This seems to be related with this bug report
I can see the confusion, the tag doesn’t update when you previously were at a bug report and then clicked on a new post. Like going into on your notifications and clicking on a different topic
For me personal messages show normal for me
As @13_5G said above, this problem was already reported. In the other thread, they are revising after noticing it is causing further issues to some users… Try reaching out there so they can also be aware that the problem remains.
If you are using a PC/desktop, you can try reloading the page by pressing F5 or clearing the cache by pressing CTRL + R. In case you are using small devices, you can try reopening the Discourse app or, if you are accessing through browsers such as Safari, Google Chrome, etc, reloading the page is another option.
