1) Project Setup & Scope
1.1 Agreement on Scope
Before any work starts, we’ll agree in writing on a clear Statement Of Work (SoW). This will include the scope, objectives, and expectations for the project.
1.2 Milestones
Larger projects may be broken into multiple Milestones, each representing a specific phase of work with its own objectives.
1.3 Changes & Revisions
A reasonable number of minor revisions and bug fixes related to the agreed upon SoW are included. Any new features, major changes, or additions outside of the original SoW will be treated as a scope creep, and require a new quote and approval before work continues.
2) Payment Terms
2.1 Pricing Confirmation
All prices must be confirmed in writing before the project begins.
2.2 Upfront Commitment
Some projects may require an upfront payment before work starts. This payment is non-refundable and reserves my time.
2.3 Milestone Payments
For milestone-based projects, payment is due once a milestone is completed and approved. Work on the next milestone will not begin until the previous one is paid in full.
2.4 Single-Task Commissions
For smaller or one-off commissions, full payment is due upon the delivery of the final product.
2.5 Fees & Payment Methods
Quoted prices are all-inclusive, if payment is sent through Roblox method that includes a marketplace fee, I will handle that fee on my end.
2.6 No Partial Ownership
Partial payments do not grant any rights, license, or ownership. A license is only granted once the full agreed-upon payments for the product are received.
3) Development Workflow & Delivery
3.1 Development Process
All work is completed outside of your project environment. I will share progress reviews and completed milestones for your review as development continues.
3.2 Review & Approval
Completed milestones are shared with you for review and approval before moving forward.
3.3 Final Delivery
Once the project is fully completed and paid for, all agreed-upon assets and files are delivered to you.
4) Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
4.1 Ownership
All work I create remains my property until the full agreed-upon payment is received.
4.2 Usage Rights
After the full payment has been received, you may use the work in any of your own projects.
4.3 Commercial Use & Credit
If the work is used in a project where you are being paid (such as a commission or contract), proper credit must be given to me as the original creator.
4.4 Unpaid or Unauthorized Use
Using the work before full payment, or claiming it as your own, isn’t permitted.
4.5 Portfolio & Reuse
I may display completed work in my portfolio and reuse general techniques or structure that aren’t specific to your project unless requested not to.
5) Cancellations, Refunds & Inactivity
5.1 Cancellation by You
If the project is cancelled after work has started, further payment is optional. However, if you wish to receive or use any work completed up to that point, payment for that work is required. The upfront commitment is non-refundable. Delivery of incomplete or unpaid work in not guaranteed.
5.2 Refund Policy
Payments for completed milestones are non-refundable.
5.3 Inactivity
If I don’t receive a respond for you in fourteen (14) consecutive days during an active milestone, and no explanation or clarification is provided beforehand, I reserve the right to consider the project inactive or abandoned.
6) Timelines
6.1 Estimates
All timelines are estimates depending on the project scope, complexity, and the response time.
6.2 Delays
Delays in feedback, approvals, or required materials will result in corresponding delays in delivery.
7) Partnership & Revenue Share
7.1 Separate Agreement Required
Any partnership, revenue share, or percentage-based collaboration requires a separate written agreement before work begins.
7.2 Right to Decline
I reserve the right to decline partnership proposals that don’t align with my goals or expectations
8) Acceptance
8.1 Agreement to Terms
By commissioning me, you confirm that you’ve read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined above.
