I am working on a huge RPG game, in which players have tons of things to do, ranging from fighting incredible bosses, to obbies and regular jobs.
One the jobs ive been working on, is a mining colony, where players need to mine amethyst.
I need your honest feedback on it. I will add effects to the mining (like sparkles when pickaxe hits the source), dont mind the visuals, like backpack or pickaxe looks.
I want your feedback on the mechanics, how the mining is actually done, and if you have suggestions, how can it be improved. Currently, as you can see in the video, the player needs to go to the amethyst crystall, click the tool and hit it, and do so 10 times. After the backpack is filled, player needs to go to a special Tube and drop the amethyst he has, and receive money for his work. It would be great if you would suggest, how can i make this system more engaging.
Keep in mind that i want to keep the game accessible both on PC and Mobile.
I can see the potential in this, I would like to see how the progress proceeds

My only note is:
Are those UI buttons permanent?
If so, I think you might want to change the font or the color of the HP button
And maybe move the Coins a bit to the right, [or you’re going to have there another stat?]

There is currently a sound effect when hitting, i just couldnt get it in the video, and i will add flying sparkles from the amethyst crystall itself on hit.
