As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to decrease a texture resolution, without uploading multiple assets, by adding this cool feature, you can freely decrease the resolution.
Benefits:
Optimization.
Makes it easier for developers to make texture resolution settings built-in the game.

SurfaceAppearance
ParticleEmitter
It would look like this in-studio.
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my development experience because it saves time by not making us developers upload various textures.
