While I was making a new update for my roblox game I suddenly got a warning from Roblox stating that my game was “misusing Roblox System”.
Twice a year my game gets a “ban” (gets under moderation review) from Roblox for miss understandings or errors I make but this is not the case, as the game name and description got changed to [ Content Deleted ] (something that never happened) and I can’t even connect to the Roblox Studio place.
Even when trying to visit the game link it states that the page does not exist.
I contacted roblox support via the support form in hope to get an answer and fix the problem.
Does anyone know what could have triggered such an immediate game deletion? Or how to get a backup of the game
I can’t even appeal the decision in the Appeals page as it is not showing up.
While false moderation is a common issue.
It could be a free model or something.
Aside from that, I believe that ban covers
Scenario 1) Deceptive or scam, which includes trying to trick users into engagement.
Scenario 2) Evading previous moderation.
Scenario 3) Adult content which includes gore and references real life events.
Scenario 4) Spam or harassment.
Scenario 5) Exploits or bypass.
It most likely wasn’t that bad if you got a warning, if anything at all.
Even if the game is deleted you should still be able to download the place file, just be careful because Roblox can detect if you re-upload games that are either deleted or owned by another creator and will terminate your account over it
Oh yeah, I was able to recover the game by downloading a copy in studio. However, the game itself was taken down.
Thankfully it was only a testing game, otherwise I would’ve been super upset.
