Mobile side-panel is very stuttery when moving after first time opened

After opening the sliding panel, the animation for it becomes very very laggy and stuttered.
Occuring on Chrome Android.
I noticed this after the major Forum software upgrade.

I didn’t report this bug to ask for workarounds, I reported it so it would get fixed.
