When I compose for an orchestra it usually sounds very classical as I always keep it sort of lighthearted & use lots of whacky music theory. I thought I’d tone it down a bit and try for a more “modern” sound and I came up with this piece.
Any feedback on the sound/orchestration is appreciated!

I think its great. As a trumpet player I don’t know much about orchestra instruments, but from what I know about orchestra is it sounds really good.
One thing I thing I’m not a fan of is that it just seems kind of bland. This could just be me with my most-annoying-instrument-in-the-world, but I think that if you made it so it wasn’t so flat I personally would have enjoyed it. But that’s just my opinion. Otherwise its a great piece.
