Modesty Layers on my Characters?

I need help deciding if these characters need modesty layers.

Minnow character

Shark character

From what I can tell I think both the Minnow and Shark need pants? Not sure if the Minnow needs a chest covering. I think I can give the shark some swim shorts, but I’m not sure how to apply that to the Minnow, since she has the apron

ANY thoughts at all are GREATLY appreciated!

I think swim shorts for the shark are a great idea. When it comes to Minnow I think the chest covering is great, and maybe you could add a skirt.

I don’t think you really need a modesty layer here.

Modesty layers are largely worded to avoid human or human passable forms being depicted, something like a lava creature can look humanoid but be allowed, since it doesn’t really have the passing features.

Interestingly though, you might have issue with the accessories, since those are against the rules, so adding pants might be a problem.

What do you mean? Could you point me to where a apron or shorts would be against the rules?

Does anyone else hav any thoughts on this?
So far we have one person who thinks I should add clothes, and one person whos the opposite

  • Keep it as is

This article should be useful and clear up things. According to the page “Modesty layers are optional if your avatar character resembles an animal.”

There’s also one with examples of accessories: Marketplace policy | Documentation - Roblox Creator Hub. That one says “Avatar bodies cannot include any accessories or clothing.”

Generally animals don’t need modesty layers as mentioned on the Marketplace policy

Thanks guys! I think I will leave it as is in this case

These are going to be NPC shopkeepers in my game. They will not be uploaded to the marketplace. So I should be fine here
