The Dynamic Head, “Monster Face” has several issues with parity to its Classic Counterpart.
The comparison is obvious when looking at both side by side. (Pictured: Roblox user Somedeviser’s avatar, which uses the Dynamic Head/Classic Face.)
Notable issues:
- “Smile” part of the Monster Smile is not that close to the original even with its mood animation (Which is loaded in the image).
Ex.
(Pictured: Roblox user Somedeviser’s avatar, which uses the Dynamic Head/Classic Face. Both characters are merged showing where the Dynamic Head’s Mood Pose differs from the Classic Face’s expression ) - Eyes are slightly further apart than they should be.
- Mood animation causes a “bulge” on the head’s shading which makes the head shape look strange. This is especially visible in brighter, higher contrast lighting as seen here:
Expected behavior
I expect the Dynamic Head counterpart of the “Monster Smile” Classic Face to present closer parity to the Classic Face, including but not limited to: Smile matches the smile on the face, UV map is changed to give the “teeth” less compression on R6, Eye spacing is fixed, etc.
