More invisible union trouble

What happened.
-Publish Failed
-Saved Work directly to computer
-Unions disappeared
-Unions will not separate
-Loading/visiting the place doesn’t bring them back

Any ways to get these unions back or am I screwed. I really don’t want to redo 2 hours of work.

Attempted to Negate the invisible union and was prompted with the message
“Unexpected end of file while reading 32 bytes”

Not sure if that helps.

Roblox is being worked on right now, probably the reason why right now, I think unions need http access to roblox to work right.

That’s not the case. I saved and 2 hours worth of unioning all disappeared. It’s not just union and oooops! it disappeared! No. I saved and it all went kaput.

Im not the only one having this problem.

Even if the publish failed, the unions might have been sent to ROBLOX’s servers. Or even worse they weren’t sent to ROBLOX but Studio doesn’t know the difference and deleted the data anyway.

I knew this would happen.

Oh, the troubles of dependencies.
Why don’t we just keep it local? Or keep it real?
These floaty things in the Cloud,
They’re not real and can’t be relied on.

This is what you suckers get for complaining about file size.

Honestly I never even cared about file size as long as I could securely upload it to roblox.

So you do what any sane person would do and work offline while ROBLOX undergoes maintenance. Not only are your unions fine, but your place is fine in case ROBLOX caves in while uploading for some reason. I’ve been working on a file saved to my local disk for the past day now, and since unions only get uploaded to the cloud when you publish the place, I’m safe. And I’m doing a lot of unioning:

Don’t mind the CSG tumors

It’s also just a good idea in general to keep offline backups or work completely offline while an internet service is wonky.

Arendelle’s file size was literally too big to upload to ROBLOX from home, and now it’s not. That is an improvement I can get behind, even if it has some minor hiccups.

Also, I do what Echo does anyway. CSG still works when you’re offline.
