Motor6d changing center of mass of a character

I was trying to handle hitboxes, by using motor6ds and attaching them to the character, but when I connected them, the center of mass shifted. I tried fixing it by turning on massless and CanCollide off, but it doesn’t seem to change anything.

Now I am wondering if there is a way how I could still attach those parts with motor6d whilst not changing center of mass

Try changing the root priority of the root part as well bigger parts tend to be the root part which could mess up some stuff with the humanoids.

Otherwise if it doesn’t work for hitboxes you probably just CFrame them and not weld them.
