As a Roblox player, it is currently too awkward to quickly toggle shift lock on and off because it used to be the first option but in a recent engine update it seems to have been moved to the bottom where it takes a while to find.
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my experience as I believe shift lock should be moved back to the top of settings instead of hidden near the bottom as it is one of the most commonly searched for features.
Honestly, as a whole, the settings menu is a mess. I wonder if a search option could help too.
After posting this I realised that they are organised now but yeah there should at least be a search bar if they wanted to keep the order. I always look at the top for shift lock and it’s awkward having to scroll down for a simple toggle. Maybe they could even add shortcuts with keybinds or just an option to pin the settings
I used to press Esc + Tab + Right arrow + Esc to quickly toggle shift lock, no longer possible due to this update
My 2 cents is that these options should be at the top above Audio (categorized as just Controls):
And the rest should be the same.
yeah they should make that separate it literally says view and controls. i don’t think it’s even alphabetical
Due to poor development practicies by people putting sprint on the shift button despite it being already used by Roblox controls quick access to Shift Lock is necessary.
