Moving on a Controller sometimes not working

Hi,

Sometimes when I am joining Experiences and trying to move with a Controller it’s not working until I move on Keyboard (One klick is enough), than I can move on Controller. This is happening sometimes, not always on Desktop or/and Xbox.

Expected behavior

That you can move on Controller instead of moving on Keyboard first.

How recently have you noticed that? What kind of experiences are you joining (just so we could test them ourselves) ?

I noticed this a few months ago I think and this is happening in like Emergency Hamburg or Steal a Vehicle or just normal default Player Places or my own Experiences.

Just tried to join & play Emergency Hamburg on Windows with game controller only and it seems to play fine. No keyboard input was needed.

It’s maybe a long shot, but do you by any chance have any software like xbox360ce installed and running? Or do you have Steam with SteamInput enabled running in the background when you’re launching Roblox? That might interfere with game controller input.

If not, then unfortunately we would need more reproduction cases to move on with fixing it.

I don’t have any Software and anything running in the background, it’s happening only sometimes but I think more on Xbox than on Desktop.

Tried it on Xbox and wasn’t able to repro. Game controller always works.
I’m going to close it for now, but will re-open in case we have more reports similar to this one.
